As we have seen our city inundated with displaced people, I often think of A.B. Simpson and his heart for the immigrant. We also see this in Leviticus 19, "The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the Lord your God." We are working alongside our national church to love well these that are coming into our city. It is not easy to share. It is not easy to be helpful to those who are so needy. But it is part of our DNA, to look for those at risk and to show the love of Christ to them.
