A nearby Burkina Alliance church baptized eleven Easter weekend. It has been the privilege of our Burkina Team to disciple and encourage this group and walk their pastor through the process (he is a recent graduate of our Bible School). Two of the women are well known to me as they recently joined our widows' group. Both experienced healing through Jesus name when no other treatment would work. Both gave their lives completely to Christ in spite of family opposition. And both took the very brave step of baptism, in a setting where bathtubs and washing in rivers is unknown. We are thankful to be part of doing what Jesus asked when He said: “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Our mission until He returns.

I love this post! I just got baptized yesterday at my home Church- Temple Baptist in Moultrie, GA! I love those verses from Matthew 28. They are on a banner in Temple Baptist. I will become a missionary in the future, praise God!
