Our denomination began in a large city and we have since been going throughout the world to large cities. Urban areas are a wonderful place for the church to welcome children. Our missions team has been doing ministry in a large city. We work with local churches to provide well trained and resourced Sunday School teachers. We have helped to build classrooms and encourage camp ministries. The Lord Jesus encouraged us to welcome children but He also warned against those who would take advantage of them. Our country has seen a rise in displaced people, the majority being children. In the city where we work, the disappearance of children has become a serious problem. We love city ministry and the many opportunities it gives to welcome children but also to warn those who would take advantage of these little ones.
