Tozer says that one of the methods God uses to draw men to Himself is proclamation of the message by means of good works. When we are involved in distributions, whether at the hospital or prison or handicap center or orphanages, we do not have an open door to proclaim the Word of God. But we do have an open door to help those in need. Our prayer is that the love of Christ would shine through us and be evident, even without us saying a word. After our distribution today at the hospital to help with the difficulties caused by the COVID virus, I heard medical staff talking about us. One asked the other who we were. The other said, "They are those Jesus people who come to pray for the sick and bring soap and food and toys for the kids." The first one said, "I wonder why they do that?" That question has been asked of Alliance missionaries ever since the first ones headed out to proclaim the Gospel with words and good deeds. It is a question that is still asked and we pray that those asking the question will seek to know the "why" of what we do, that all men may know our Heavenly Father, and Jesus Christ whom He sent.Attached File  IMG_5545 (1).jpg   168KB   0 downloads
