We use the phrase so often that maybe we can forget how remarkable it is that God plans ahead the good that we should do. We had one of those divine appointments at the hospital we visit each week. A brand new baby needing surgery, a young unwed mom who had no clue how to care for the baby, and no clothes for the baby! Forced to be on a mat in the hallway due to overcrowding, this young girl didn't even know how to comfort a crying baby or how to hold him. And there we were, a team of women able to step in and give practical help, purchase clothing, a lesson in baby care, and most importantly to tell this young woman that we are Jesus followers. We are thankful for divine appointments and for you who give to the Great Commission Fund that allows us to be serving in Burkina Faso.

Praise the Lord. Doctors decided surgery was not needed for this baby. We know that the Lord healed this precious one and gave our team a short opportunity to show the love of Christ. Thank you for praying!!
