It was a stirring moment during the New Year's Eve service, when the band began to play, people stood up, and flags were carried into the church, representing countries from around the world. It was reminiscent of many missions’ conferences but this was taking place in our church in Burkina Faso. Flags are a part of our DNA, standing for the great peoples of the world that we are endeavoring to reach. As our church moves forward in missions, sending workers to unreached areas of our country, with plans to send missionaries beyond the country borders, they want to keep before the church members the visual reminder that we are to go throughout the world proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ.
