Is it morbid to want the end-times to come on to be with the Lord?

You know, as I think about your question, I have mixed feelings. For those who are saved, the answer is YES! For the lost of this world, God`s patience and kindness continue, allowing them time to hear the truth and respond to it. My answer to the question is something like....God has His time table and He has good reasons to allow more time to pass before the end. I`ll do my best to remain content with His decisions on the matter.......His decisions on all matters.
In Christ,
Charlie

Paul wrestled with this in Philipians 1:21-30. I doubt that it is morbid to desire the Savior or to say Maranatha, come Lord Jesus! Titus 2:13 talks about how we wait for the blessed and glorious hope and Romans 8:19-23 talks about the longing of all of creation for that time.
I think the hard thing for me is to realize that, while I long for those days, God wants to make Himself known to me in my earthly life here. Also to make Himself known through me both to others who long for that day and to those who don't know what to look forward to.
To live is Christ! To die is gain!
