Greetings and God's peace to everyone.
I was doing a study on Isaiah 53 last night and learned this poem.
He was born of a woman
so that we could be born of God.
He humbled Himself
so we could be lifted up.
He became a servant
so we could become joint heirs with Him.
He suffered rejection
so we could be His friend.
He denied Himself
so we could freely receive all things.
He gave Himself
so He could bless us.
Also I like: He was crucified on a piece of wood
yet He made the hill on which it stood.
Who did we crucify? God Himself!
When He was exchanged for Barrabus, the guilty and the innocent changed places.
These are just unfathomable thoughts I love to meditate on.
