The Gospel, Abortion & the Church

God's response to the first murder, "The voice of your brother's blood is crying to me from the ground." Genesis 4:10 (ESV)
May I suggest that the blood of 55 million unborn children is crying out to Him from the ground of our nation.
The question America and the Church must consider is, "Can a Holy God remain just and ignore the ritual bloodshed taking place in America every day?"
The unborn children killed by abortion are the casualties of a war between Heaven and Hell. The battle lines were drawn early in human history. After the fall of Adam and Eve into sin, God said, “I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.” Genesis 3:15 (ESV)
Jesus said the devil “was a murdered from the beginning.” (John 8:44)
He came “to steal and kill and destroy.” (John 10:10)
Just another reason why abortion is first and foremost a gospel issue. "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers over this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."
Ephesians 6:12 (NIV)
The Church is the only institution spiritually equipped to engage the spiritual forces behind abortion. Therefore the Church must take the lead in the effort to end abortion.

- provides compassionate help to those at risk for abortion.
