Part of our DNA is showing the kindness and gentleness of Christ. Our team is focusing on one hundred displaced women who have, in recent months, known only the cruelty and fear of war. We provide food through distributions, but we also organize workshops where these women can learn a practical skill to allow them to provide in some small way for their families. We know in bringing them together, there will be opportunity to show kindness through a shared meal, laughter, and prayer. Jesus never turned away from the needy but gave us an example of personal contact with the poor. Thankful that this is a large part of our Burkina Team ministry, showing the kindness and gentleness of Christ.
