Our team is seeking to provide educational access to the displaced children in our city. Many have been out of school for one or two years. Resources and places are limited in our city schools. This small second chance school is targeting 40 displaced children that have already attended school in the past and need to be brought up to grade level so that next year that can enter back into the traditional school system. Teachers and those overseeing the project are all believers. They are also trained in trauma healing and trained to recognize malnutrition or children at risk. We pray that as these children have access to education they will also have access to the Gospel by the witness of the staff and administrators.
