She came to Bible study determined not to cook for her husband again. During the last farming season, she had cultivated enough food to feed the family throughout the year. She had carefully stored the grain, but came home one day to find that her husband had sold all of it and wasted the money. It was the last bit of food that she had and she would not share it with him. But during Bible study the challenge came to love your neighbor as yourself. The Holy Spirit began to speak to her and after a long struggle she went home and included her husband in that last meal and set about again to provide for her family. She said, "I don't know if my husband will change, but I was changed and had such a peace when I did the right thing. I just knew the Lord would help me to continue to love well." Praise the Lord for Bible studies and believers who are following Christ at great cost.
