She prayed twenty years for her son who left Burkina to find work and was not heard from again. At first, she said, I asked for others to pray with me, for his safety and that I would hear from him. But after many years, I stopped sharing the request. And then his father died. As major family events occurred, I kept crying out to the Lord that I would hear from him and know that he was alright. And then the day came, when the phone rang and it was my son! He asked forgiveness for not contacting us sooner because he was in a difficult situation. And then, after so many years, he thought we would have forgotten him. But he said that he kept having this strong urge, feeling to call his family and it wouldn't go away. Once the initial phone call was made, he has continued to call and talk to his mother, even through video chat. An amazing answer to prayer for this woman who is a part of our widows group.
