When someone truly accepts Christ as Savior, God's blessings begin to add up. This young man was born with a facial deformity that made it hard for him to eat and hard for others to see. He came to our city looking for work, but found nothing. An international worker moved into a house near where this young man would hang out. And from then on, things began to add up in his favor. A constant witness to the Good News of Christ, accepting Christ as Savior, surgery to repair the facial deformity, the ability to eat, baptized, learning a trade, a wedding, a baby, and now helping displaced people to at least have a place to stay. Anyone who had known this young man before his encounter with Christians, could never have imagined how things would add up for him. An international worker being present changed the equation completely. When we do the math, we see the truth of 2 Corinthians 9:8 that reads, "And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work."
