Being raised in a third culture and seeing the needs around them, played a big part in our children considering missions. But just as following Christ is a personal decision, so is serving in full-time ministry. Twenty-seven years ago we traveled to the US embassy in Paris to declare the birth of our son in France and to obtain an American passport for him. And now this past week our son made that same trip with his son. As we see the C&MA DNA in our children we know that it is a work of the Holy Spirit. It is the same as we teach missions in our Bible schools and the support of missions in our churches. We pray that the same glorious, unlimited resources of our Heavenly Father, will empower the next generation and the one after that, to declare the Good News to all until the Lord returns.
