We have the great privilege of preparing pastors' wives for ministry. One thing we endeavor to instill in them is the idea of serving the Lord Jesus by serving His church. And we see these women taking up that challenge by visiting the sick, helping new moms, preparing young women for marriage, giving up some of their resources in order to be hospitable, leading a choir, teaching a Bible class, and yes, even playing the drum. Jesus described His ministry as "being among you as one who serves." As missionaries, we try to model Christ in serving the people in our church and community. We are thankful for pastors' wives who demonstrate their love for Christ by serving those around them.
