We praise the Lord for the Christian Deaf School that has become a place of acceptance for all handicap children. The other day this woman brought her nephew. He hears but does not speak. He also has some other cognitive challenges. As I prayed over this boy and assured this woman that Abdoulaye would have a place at the school and that he was loved by the Lord, she began to cry. It was a moving moment, with sorrow, joy, and hope all mixed together. Praise the Lord that He has welcomed these children and that our deaf school is doing the same. We praise the Lord that we serve a God who cares deeply and watches over those we might consider "the least of these."
