The Great Lakes District of the Christian and Missionary Alliance recently created a video to help our churches walk through the difficult conversation of racism and how the church can overcome it. It was purposefully done as a simple conversation between friends in a park setting similar to what you would do if you were meeting a friend. The video is an hour and 8 minutes long. It is meant to be shared so feel free to do so. With this video we hope we are able to provide insight into the pain of being treated differently due to the color of your skin and how we can glorify God by acknowledging and celebrating our differences.
The two men in this video is Rev. Donald Smith, lead pastor at Sylvania Community Church, in Sylvania Ohio, and Rev. Thomas George, district superintendent for the Great Lakes District.
