We praise the Lord for hospital chapels and chaplains. We are part of a prayer team that works out of the chapel, visiting in the wards, sharing the Good News of the Lord Jesus, and helping in any way that we can. This week, when we entered the chapel, we noticed a young woman. We asked her if she was sick or if a family member was sick. No, she said, my husband is in the military and several in his troop were killed yesterday in an attack. She said that she was so distraught and didn't know where to go for help and then someone told her about the chapel. We praise the Lord that we were there and could offer this woman prayer and encouragement, and get her phone number so that we could call and check up on her. We praise the Lord for those serving in hospital chapels and for those who give so that these places are available.
