We praise the Lord for His equipping of believers, especially in the medical field. Doctor Dembele is one example of a highly respected gynecologist who works both at the local hospital and teaching nurses and physicians at the local university. But he also takes time to teach health on the radio and to hold seminars throughout Burkina Faso to encourage marriages and families. How we thank the Lord for this man who also goes through the hospital talking and praying with patients. The Apostle Paul writes in Colossians 1: "We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all the saints—the faith and love that spring from the hope that is stored up for you in heaven." We too thank the Lord and praise Him for all of our Christian doctors and nurses that are serving faithfully and selflessly.
