We are in the process of planning for upcoming missions week events.  I was wondering what type of events other churches normally have during the week.  Typically we do the Sunday service/Sunday school, Men's Meeting, Women's meeting, and one other event open to everyone.

Are there other events church's have to make it a successful missions conference?

Do you have a specific topic or focus for each event?

One event that seems to be enjoyed by everyone is an international dinner. If you have people from your congregation that come from other countries or know what their heritage is, they can make dishes from that country. Often I have seen recipes made available. Some fun food facts could be read or maybe what school kids eat for lunch around the world. At a recent event for young women, we shared bananas and an orange pop!
