The founder of our denomination said that we should expect to encounter evil spirits when we go out and share the light of the Gospel. One of Jesus' ministries was the casting out of evil spirits. In a recent trip to the village of Ouelokoto, we encountered two children that were possessed by demons. How like our enemy to attack children! Our team does not shrink back from confronting these that torture the helpless and from commanding them to leave. Our passionate prayers are offered to the One who said, "Permit the children to come to Me; do not hinder them; for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." (Mark 10:14) Through prayer we know these children will be delivered from destructive behavior and will be able to come to Jesus.
