Our culture has moved away from God--as a result, there is a coldness (see Mt. 24:12).

Certainly, God brings warmth and love to every level. For instance,

He feeds birds (Mt. 6:26), and He dresses lilies in all of their

finery (6:28-29).

Thus, when God is embraced and depended upon, we find peace,

love, and joy (Gal 5:22). Indeed, in every sphere, our LORD

touches our world with grace and beauty!

In an over busy, preoccupied world, we are often blind to the miracle of the natural model and perfect example for living the deeper life. It’s all around us and we pass through, heads elsewhere, taking for granted, ignoring the lessons that God created for us to learn how to listen, trust and obey, and thus be provided for, like the birds and lilies. I guess we prefer the hard way. Crazy humans.

Because this topic is deep and wide, I’d like to introduce you to one of this forum’s own perspective in her new blog:

Amen Nice!  True how our world is godless.  Yet, many believe they've found God (gods) via yoga and life force, Buddhism, new age, etc.  That warmth (Love of God) can't be manufactured!

Meema,

There is so much in that post to ponder. Thank you!

Candice,

Such a good point! Those pursuits claim peace,

but there is no peace without the love of God.
