Six months ago Bintou arrived at the local hospital. She had been helping her mother cook when the fire caught hold of her clothes and left Bintou with burns over most of her body. Our Bobo Team has been visiting her every week, helping in any way possible to support her family, who have been living at the hospital with her during these long months. Yesterday, we brought her a pillowcase dress made by Great Commission Women in Florida. It was a sign of faith that one day she would be free of the bandages and be able to wear the dress. Personal visits to the sick at the local hospital give us many opportunities to demonstrate our faith in the Lord Jesus who is compassionate in His care over His children. The local hospital has proved to be a wonderful place to live out compassionate caring to some of the neediest in our city of Bobo-Dioulasso and to bring them into contact with Jesus, who is our healer.
