Alan, I see many are not quick to share why they are so convicted to worship at an alliance church. I'm new to the alliance but share the spirit of the founder. I have spent most of my christian walk as a soldier in the Salvation Army. I was pleasently surprized when I found out about the elders of the church rejecting the new converts that A.B. Simpson was encouraging in New York City. Typical of people who see church as worship rather than a chance to fulfill the great commission. God's call on my life is to live among the people and love them for Christ. Discipling individuals to Disciple others while supporting others who are Discipling people to Disciple others in foreign countries is as simple as the gospel can be. This is very unique and I think the core of the founders heart.
