Thanks to those who've been praying for the volatile situation at our apartment complex! Last Friday, I arrived home to see a tenant walking around outside with blood all over his face (at first I thought it was paint). There were several other tenants standing around, and one lady was making a cell phone call (probably calling 911). Before I had a chance to offer help or ask what happened, the injured man went inside one of the buildings and the crowd disbursed.

I went inside our building to tell my husband what was going on. He immediately went outside and said the paramedics and police were already there. The bloodied man was carried onto an ambulance in a stretcher, and I saw the police questioning several tenants.

On Saturday, I ran into one of the neighbors who had been questioned by police, and I asked him what happened on Friday. "Don't even get me started," he said. "I hate living here."

I never did find out exactly what happened. Oddly, the tenant who has been causing so much turmoil in recent weeks, Nate, hasn't been seen since Friday's incident. It makes me wonder if he was responsible for the man's injuries and was arrested (I saw the two of them fighting on another occasion).

Needless to say, I would covet your prayers for our neighbors. Pray for peace, protection, and salvation of those who don't know Jesus. There is an elderly couple who are Christians, but I would venture to say that most of our neighbors don't know Him. My husband and I continually try to witness to all who will listen; pray for wisdom and boldness for us. Thanks for praying!
