I asked The Lord diligently in prayer for months, if not years, telling Him that I am available for His uses. I spent too much time being plugged into places others needed me to fill and soon knew by God's word becoming alive to me in areas of serving Him. The result was awareness that it was all gonna burn. Woke up to see wood, hay and stubble.

The Lord was faithful to prepare me in prayer and seeking Him alone for His opportunities. He arranged for my neighbor to need horse advice which led to a problem with her friend and then she came to the end of herself and her horse dreams. Thereby, I was prompted by God's Spirit begin to witness directly to my lady neighbor who is 5 years younger. The Spirit of God pulled together the fibers to weave it all. I am grateful to Him for the blessing of someone to disciple weekly. (And more ). Praising Him because it keeps me so close to Him as to truly have her know Christ and search scripture wisely and hang onto Our Father's good opinion of her through Christ's work.

Trusting in Him for what has eternal value is all there is to this "Christian life" which nowadays looks pathetic in its manifestation in the world of compromise as Tozer and others so wisely disclosed.
He is so good to answer our heart's desires for eternal things if we ask sincerely. It's His evidence and life that produces fruit , and His care as a gardener and walking along with Him is the only way to fly. He is really the only Teacher. We just dispense the grace and wait for Him to tend.
