At present, I am doing mission work at my mother's house. I am her Primary caregiver as she has endstage Alzheimer's disease. She also has a PEG (stomach feeding tube).  She is bedridden.  I promised her that she would always be at her home. No matter what.  I have been doing this now for over two years.  I realize that someday......this will end.  Oh......what a God given blessing it has been for me to minister to my mother. For years we have had deep resentment toward each other,  But over the last two years......my horrid heart, concerning her, has been replaced with a heart of love and compassion for my mother.

Many times, in prayer, I have requested that God use me in full time ministry......no matter where.....no matter how.......no matter what I must give up.  As far as missions work goes......I am feeling a deep pull in that direction.   And I want to work under the auspices of the CM&A.  Why this organization????  Because I am a devoted reader of A.W. Tozer and A B Simpson and I have read all of the stuff about "WHO WE ARE" and I find it agreeable to my mind and spirit.

How would I start a course of training????   I have never been on a plane before. Or even a Boat on the Ocean. (Just musing aloud here) But I would certainly appreciate any replies or feedback.  I'm pretty sure that my heart is set on this

Amen Kevin! I will pray God gives you His direction. If you go to the top of the page and click Ministries it will tell you a lot about missionary work internationally and in the US.

Kevin I see we share the same name!I can relate to your scenario a lot!I did the same for my dad . As far taking the next step, I would direct you to contact your district office .I just completed the polity course to transfer my credentials to the c&ma. Do you hold credentials with a church already? No judgement intended, just wondering. My prayers are with you!!God bless!!

Hi Kevin,
If you need some information about how to contact a district office of the C&MA, please email me at hankinsr@cmalliance.org and let me know where you are located.
Blessings,
Ruthie
