Please pray for Kotimi, a woman who accepted Christ last spring.  She has been allowed to come to church and Bible study.  But this week, when she told her husband that she would be baptized this Sunday, he threatened her.  He then went and told her family what she was planning to do.  Her family said that if she goes through with the baptism, they will disown her.  Pray that the Lord will give Kotimi much courage to continue to follow Christ.  Pray that her testimony and decision will be a means of bringing her whole family to Christ.  Pray for the pastor's wife, Christine, who has been instrumental in discipling Kotimi.

Praying and will continue to pray for Kotimi.

In The Pursuit of God, A. W. Tozer writes, "Jesus taught that He wrought His works by always keeping His inward eyes upon His Father. His power lay in His continuous look at God (John 5:19-21)."

Saturday evening Kotimi's parents send word that they were disowning her and that she was not to visit them and would never be welcomed in their courtyard.  But this afternoon, she stood up and told how she accepted Christ and how in her heart she knows He is her Savior.  Then, she was baptized.  Thank you for praying for her.  Continue to keep Kotimi in prayer as she lives out her faith in Jesus in a difficult situation.

Out of His fullness  ... Grace.  She believes it.... but more importantly she has experienced His indelible grace.  The Lord is her refuge.  We are her family.  Incense is rising...Intercession is ignited.  Let her know that she is loved.

When you and I stand together in the presence of God- knowing and seeing who He is and all that He has done in His sovereign power to move us from birth to "that Day"- we will pour out our thanks and praise to Him, joyfully doing our best to shake the rafters of heaven.

O dear Precious Lord thank you for Kotimi being our sister and for us being able to come together here in prayer for her and with one another.

Please help Kotimi to know she is precious to you and to us and keep us in a spirit of prayer for her.  Grace, grace, God's grace...  sweeping over our souls in fathomless billows of love....
