Please pray for our neighbor Bobby. He had a massive stroke recently and made a remarkable, even miraculous, recovery (initially, he was not expected to live, and the doctors are amazed he pulled through). However, he is in the hospital again due to fluid around the heart, which had to be drained (apparently this is common after a stroke). He is expected to be fine and is not in ICU, but I would sure appreciate prayers for complete healing. He is one of the nicest neighbors we've had at our complex. He is only 39, but he had been a smoker so that probably contributed to this. He has quit smoking as a result of this health crisis.

Bobby's mom told us that he hasn't been going to church in recent years (they are Catholic) but that this crisis gave him a "new lease on life" and he seems interested in having a deeper relationship with the Lord. My husband and I brought him a gift basket of fruit and a get-well card, which contained Scriptures about healing and a prayer for healing. He was really overwhelmed by this act of kindness and even told his mom, "No one's ever done anything like that for me before!" She said it really lifted his spirits. Please pray that God will continue to use us to share the love of Jesus with Bobby and that he will surrender fully to Him.

Praying for his salvation and healing! Praying for you and your husband to be bright lights and a source of comfort for him.

Blessings,
Lori

In The Pursuit of God, A. W. Tozer writes, "Jesus taught that He wrought His works by always keeping His inward eyes upon His Father. His power lay in His continuous look at God (John 5:19-21)."

I lift Bobby up to the Lord. What a story, a sweet story. I just know Bobby's going to be fine with you as his neighbor. Bless you for being so good to him.

Father

Work in Bobbie's heart. Draw him into a deep and personal relationship with your Son, Jesus. May Bobby experience a genuine conversion and grow deeply in love with You and serve You for your glory

I'll pray for Bobby too. So young for this. And for his discipleship. God bless you for your living the Love, Julie.
