Yes! please pray about the new fire that I can see from my house. There is another thunderstorm tonight and I ask the Lord to keep all the firefighters safe. They worked hard today dropping water on it. The skies are flashing with lightening, the hillsides dotted with spot fires and all the trucks with flashing lights. I don't think there is much rain in this storm. Lord please Help! Thank you great and merciful God. betsy

Praying for your surgical recovery - knee replacement is a tough go rehab-wise. Also, for the only storm is to bring RAIN and not dry strikes.
We had a fire here a few years ago in which we had to evacuate our home for several days. It looked like God was just tossing enormous fire balls from the sky upon the forest and meadows. The firefighters saved our home and other homes nearby but barely. We lost several acres of trees, but now even more beautiful wildflowers come up and the aspens have grown up strong since the fire, which only the LORD could know there how to powerfully and literally bring beauty from ashes.
God will heal you and the land. Let's keep up praying for one another.

Praise God for His faithfulness! It had burned 125 square miles and was very close to Betsy's home. God responded to prayers and changed conditions! We have a God who remains in control and who still listens to the pleas of His people. He is good. Let's give Him glory, honor and praise. Plus, let's continue to support one another in prayer!

I'm overwhelmed by reading all these posts and the faithfulness of His believers. I'm so uplifted and full of joy. Thank you Lord and my sisters and brothers. There is so much power in prayer.
