This may not seem like a very important issue, but it is causing great disharmony in my home.

We had 3 cats; two were born in the wild (feral). They were a sweet group that loved each other. We were determined not to get involved in any more TNR (trap neuter release) events, so we would not acquire any more cats. However, this emaciated cat showed up at our back door and we had to feed her. She was a mess, full of missing hair, fleas and scars.

We recently took her inside (after shots and vet visit). But she does not get along with the other 3. I'd hate to have to keep her outside (though sometimes I think she was happier out there) because she would once again become full of fleas. Plus there are foxes out there that are really threatening.

Please pray for harmony with all of them. Thanks in advance!

Lori

"Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father's care" (Matthew 29:10). Lori, I am praying in agreement with you about this situation that is close to your heart, and therefore it is important. I believe God is honored when we care for animals, because He created them. It is also part of being stewards of God's creation.

My husband and I don't have pets (we live in an apartment that doesn't allow any), yet we really enjoy the animals that we encounter outside our apartment, especially the squirrels. We have befriended several of them over the years that we have fed (we train them to come right up to us to get the nuts we feed them, and they often come right onto our front stoop). We even named them all. So your prayer request really resonated with me. I pray that God will bring peace to this situation.

This morning watching the interaction between birds. The way the birds were each just pecking at was before them in a bed of lambs quarters was and intriguing display of harmony. Don't know but this seems illustrative of being in agreement for the harmony Lori has requested. We have come together in Jesus name in behalf our sister Lori and for harmony between the cats she is tending to. May God grant the request we make in accordance with His will and thanks be to God for Lori's heart toward all of God's creatures. God's answer, God's blessings, God's glory and God's harmony.... Shalom

Thank you so much to all who prayed! The prayers are definitely working!

P.S. The birds and squirrels are enjoying my yard much more since we took the stray cat inside. Now all of our cats sit in front of the sliding glass door and watch them.
