I want to sing from the mountain tops! However I am not great at climbing so I will share it here. :) I have a BA in Education. However right before I could really start teaching I became pregnant. So I put my teaching aside to raise my son. He is now 5 and will be in Kindergarten in the fall. Lately I have been feeling a call to go back to teaching. So I did some online research to see if I was still in compliance. While I did that I looked into Youth Ministry. ( I tend to get distracted) I thought that would be a great why to use my education. However I didn't have the money to continue my education in that way.

I looked into what kind of teaching positions I could get now. I received a lot of encouragement from friends and family. I even found out that due to the job I had I could possibly teach vocational subjects and earn quite a bit more money. However my heart just didn't feel as into it as I thought I would be.

Last weekend... It was a rough one for me. I found out some happy/sad news for me personally. I was so upset I called my Pastor and we prayed about it. Then God answered my prayers on Sunday morning. Before church I was watching In Touch and Dr. Charles Stanley gave a talk about anger. I laughed and thanked God for his faithfulness in answering my prayers. However that is not why I am singing to the heavens with JOY!

As I was sitting in the sanctuary at church the Pastor was passing out envelopes to a couple of members of the church. He came over and handed me one. I asked "What is this?" He replied "An invitation." I gave him a puzzled look and asked "Should I open it now?" "If you wish." He smiled and walked away.

Inside was a letter. It said that the Pastor and the Governing Board has recognized me as a future leader in the church. It was an invitation for a 3 year program to groom me for Ministry Leadership! I am beyond humbled and excited! Orientation is in a week! I know this is God's plan for me! As sure as I knew my son was God's miracle to me. He knew. He knew my heart and what I was wanting/needing. God is truly great! The funny part is that I never told another soul about me looking into Youth Ministry. But of course God knew and now I will start another exciting chapter in my life. I give all glory and thanks to Him :)
