WHAT?? There is no where in the scriptures any verse that states or implies that Jesus partying with anyone. He associated (by tax collectors, sinners...) listening to Him speak, but please show me chapter and verse where in scripture that reads that Jesus did what they did...drinking, partying, whatever... It's not the same thing!Throughout the gospels, Jesus would feast, drink and associate with tax collectors, prostitutes and sinners of many varieties. He wasn't partying just to be partying, but instead was using it as an avenue through-which he could, in turn, speak into peoples lives.
Does not mean he did what they did!

That latest box office hit, Christian-media proclaimed movie had large sections that could not be more appropriately described than "pornographic". I had not read the book, but heard it, and the movie much proclaimed, and knew the basic plot, and conclusion. The fact that the main theme of the story was evidently to demonstrate forgiveness and grace, was effectively polluted by those long pornographic scenes. Even if you close your eyes, you can hear the vulgar dialogue and lyrics. There is nothing redeeming enough in the movie to justify filling your mind with that pornography. The idea that Christians need to partake of that in order to develop a dialogue, conversation or "relationship" with unbelievers is a deception straight from Satan.
Christians are commanded to proclaim the gospel, and thus must engage in conversation with unbelievers, but that can be done without polluting your mind with the obscenities of such "entertainment". You will not find any Biblical directive to participate, or make the observing of their orgies and vulgarities for entertainment. Yes, the movie makers and the musicians can be very talented, and that talent can be used to entice people into sin.
The apostle John wrote concerning the resurrection of believers in Christ:
"2 Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears,[a] we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. 3 All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure." 1John 3:2-3
