They will be at all of our Christmas events. Those that linger outside the church or at the windows. Those that come in to the courtyard of the school or hangout by the gate. Close enough to hear what is going on, but thinking that they have not been invited. At our deaf school Christmas party three teenage mothers and their babies sat on a bench by the entrance, knowing they could make a quick escape when someone noticed that they were not a part of the invited group. But the party that our Lord Jesus plans and that we throw is open to all. There are no uninvited guests. His grace extends to all and not only are all welcome, we want them there. Pray for us as we present the gospel during this special time of year, as new believers are baptized, both in churches and out in village streams, that we will be aware of those listening in and watching from a distance. Pray that those who think they are uninvited will realize that they are the reason God sent His Son.

That warms my heart. I love that you say you "want them there." So many people feel unwanted, but God wants them. Thank you so much for showing the Father's heart to all who will come. Beautiful.
