Romans 10 is so familiar to us and as missionaries in Burkina Faso, we have been targeting unreached people groups for almost one hundred years. We have done this by learning languages and traveling to remote areas. We have trained pastors and their wives. We have launched Christian radio stations broadcasting in over 15 different languages. Most recently Christian government workers who are being posted to villages where there are no believers. But there came to our attention an unreached group of people that we had no way to tell of Christ. "How can they hear about Him unless someone tells them?" This group cannot hear about Christ as most others in Burkina can, because they are deaf. But the Lord has made a way. He who said that He is not willing that any should perish, has brought to Burkina a group of deaf Christians from Salem Alliance Church and this week they will be sharing the gospel with deaf children, youth, and families of deaf children. Pray with us that this would be a life changing week for many in the deaf community. Pray for the Lord to do a might work through this group. Pray for the follow up. We have a woman in our church that signs. The deaf school where we will be working is run by a Christian man and mostly staffed by Christians. Pray for an eternal impact on the lives of our deaf community.
