Dan and Melodie Ibsen, Alliance international workers in Guines, request prayer for Jayden, one of their unborn grandsons (their daughter is carrying twins). "His lungs seem to be shutting down, and the doctors are running out of options," they write. "Please pray!"

I made a mistake in my first post - the twins were born by C-section on Saturday. Please keep praying for Jayden.

I just saw in an older e-mail that one of the twins, Noah, had passed away. Please hold the family up in your prayers during this difficult time, and pray that God will spare Jayden's life.

Dan and Melodie Ibsent write:
"We just want to thank all of you for your prayers and support during these last weeks of our very up and down journey. On Tuesday morning about 3 am they removed the last life support from Jayden and he went to be with his brother in the presence of Jesus.
"Kyle said to him as he was slipping away 'I can see you dancing around Jesus' feet and playing tag with your little brother.' Jayden had a little smile on his face and was very peaceful.
"We all are heartbroken and don't understand all the 'whys,' but we do have a deep peace in our hearts. Thank you again for all your support, prayer and encouragement. We will likely have a memorial service for the twins in the next week or so."
