My name is Travis Graves. I'm 20. I was raised in the C&MA, attending with my parents at MAC (Missoula Alliance Church) then when I was seventeen I moved alone to NYC and attended FAC (First Alliance Church) and there God put a desire in my heart to serve the Church through missions/member care. So I went to MAC (Muncie Alliance Church) to take part in their 2 year internship which I will have completed in 4 more weeks. During that time me and two other guy's started forafriend.com which gives mission workers a profile that they can receive small relational gifts through givers who desire to support missions but for one reason or another don't think they can. I'm in the process of doing the C&MA's Application for Alliance Ministry (which is intense! but I love it). I want to be a useful tool to God and His Church but I don't know how that's going to happen. The things I desire to do I can't make happen. Once I'm done with the Internship I won't know what to do. I won't have school, housing, or free food. I don't know where to go or what to do. Forafriend isn't at a place where I could do that full time and once I apply for Alliance Ministry I won't be accepted for who knows how long if I even get accepted. And if I get accepted that doesn't mean I'll necessarily be placed in ministry.
So why am I here? I'm doing the little things that I can do to support and encourage my family in Christ in the waiting for something greater. I trust the Lord will give me everything I need and lead me where He wants me to be, so I won't dread the day of small things. I'll be posting and praying.
In Christ Jesus,
Travis Graves

A journey of faith begins with a single step. Abraham took that first step even though God told him to leave behind his position of power, prestige, wealth, and community ties to live in a tent on a journey to an unknown destination. God reveals His perfect plan to us only on a "need to know" basis, one step of a time, to strengthen our faith and dependence on Him.
I'll be praying for you and your ministry.
