: As I sit in my "usual" seat at a wonderful Bible believing church in my nice clothes and look aroundIam so blessed.I sometimes find it hard to be still when there are so many who do without all the comforts I have. The freedom I have to worship without fear of harm or death,my warm home with ample food Ithank God for and pray constantly for those who do not have these things and more importantly I pray for those that do not know Jesus.I want to live a life that brings him all the glory.I want not to be a member of a building[church]but to be his church. If I wait to witness only in the confines of a building it won't happen with all the programs and schedules. So here I am saying use me Lord in my daily life help me by your power in me to be the church.I{we)have to go to the ones that need Jesus don't you think?I pray for this always and He keeps leading me and I pray that you also will be missional in your life......God bless
Amen! The purpose of church services, preaching, corporate worship, fellowship, etc. is to encourage, challenge, exhort, and build up the believers, i.e., the body of Christ. But we miss the point if we are blessed by all the above, yet fail to be missionaries in whatever mission field God has placed us. It's fine to invite the unsaved to church, but we are more likely to reach them for Christ if we meet them on their turf and let Christ's love and His Gospel message flow through us in terms they can appreciate.
