Please pray for my neighbors, Joy and Rich, an elderly Christian couple living in my apartment complex. Recently, they were informed by the landlords that their rent is being increased to an amount that they can't afford. They were told that the increase will go into effect in November. It looks like they are going to have to move unless the landlords have a change of heart. Rich and Joy are living on Social Security, and Joy is in very poor health (she is on oxygen and dialysis and walks with a cane). I am sure the prospect of moving is overwhelming to them. They have lived in this complex for many years without a rent increase. The former landlady was a very kind woman who transferred ownership of the complex to her son and daughter-in-law, who are quite ruthless. Please pray that the landlords (Don and Kristina) will have a change of heart. Rich and Joy have been very stable tenants while most of the other tenants have been trouble makers, so it doesn't make a whole lot of sense that the current landlords would want to get rid of such good tenants. Thanks for praying!

I'll pray for them Julie. This is so unusual. My widowed daughter and her first husband had these very names. Oh yes! I will pray.

EDIT: I would have prayed for this couple anyway. Just was so touched by their names. Sorry for making too much of that. Let us know when the land lord changes his mind.

I want to live my life so that every morning
when I wake up Satan says, "Oh, no! She's awake!

Thank you so much for praying, RuthAnn! I can see how you would be touched by their names. :) I will definitely let you know when the landlord changes his mind.
