He is the image of the invisible God (Col. 1:15); Christ is the precise representation, reflecting and revealing God to the true believer; the one supreme supernatural being as creator and sustainer of the universe - God; the image of the Son of God, into which true Christians are transformed, is likeness not only to the heavenly body, but also the most holy and blessed state of mind which Christ possesses.

Love the post. Bless your abiding... I have been camped on John 1:16-18. Out of His fullness we have received grace on top of grace ...layered with grace and then when we think we have had enough...another scoop of grace.

All for the express purpose of "revelating" HIM

When you and I stand together in the presence of God- knowing and seeing who He is and all that He has done in His sovereign power to move us from birth to "that Day"- we will pour out our thanks and praise to Him, joyfully doing our best to shake the rafters of heaven.

I praise Him everyday because everyday He amazes me with scoop after scoop of His matchless, unlimited grace on those who follow hard after Him. From Acts 15:11 when He pulled me out of the slimy pit when I was age 32, to saving my wife a week later, to saving my children (Prov 20:7), and then my children's children (Psalm 103:17-18), to the way He provides physical provisions as well as spiritual provisions, to allowing me to witness Him bringing others into the Kingdom and equip them to bring Him glory (Psalm 96:1-4).
