Praise for answered Prayer!

Over the past several months, I've posted requests asking for the Alliance family to join me in prayer. I want to take a moment and give testimony of how our Lord has answered those prayers:

For my sister: The Lord has blessed her with a wonderful opportunity to serve Him at Nyack College. This job is the desire of her heart and she is beyond words in her joy and praise for how the Lord has provided.

For my husband: At church two weeks ago, my pastor held an impromptu healing service and my husband experienced healing in his neck and shoulder. He was very excited to feel the relief from the pain of an inflamed disc in his neck and related injury to his shoulder. He is praising the Lord for his healing (and I am too!).

For my friend: She is the young mom who experienced serious complications after the birth of her baby. She is home and rejoicing with her husband and family for the gift of their newborn daughter.

For my community: There seems to be a "truce" of sorts where the young Islamic man has stopped forcing his beliefs onto the community. There still needs to be much ongoing prayer because he has some serious issues with acceptance and tolerance for his predominantly "Christian" neighbors. Also, I'm praying for him to come to know Christ as his God and Savior and to know His peace.
