From the Africa Regional Office:

"Please pray for Cote d’Ivoire right now. After French kidnappings, UN deaths, and well over 1,000 African deaths, the UN and French forces are attacking five of Laurent Gbagbo’s strong points, including the main military headquarters. A heavy artillery shell landed in the West Africa Alliance Seminary (FATEAC) by mistake but didn't hit any person or building. Please pray for safety for our seminary students, staff, and church members. Some have taken cover on the floor in their houses. It is almost impossible to get out to buy food, and some water supplies have been cut. Our international workers are all in Dakar, Senegal."

Thanks for your prayers! The Office of Communications will post further updates as they become available.
