Because He knows me, I can finally be at peace with my marriage. All this time (17 years) I thought I was emotionally starving to be known by my husband. In my mind, I thought I was unloved because the depth of intellectual intimacy I wanted wasn't there. The truth that He knows me has delivered me from this contract with Satan. I had to repent of standing on his lies. By turning to God's truth, I have entered a new awareness in all my relationships. I realize that the strength of God in the three fold cord makes up for any weakness in the bonds of the other two strands that my husband and I make, or my friend and I make, or my son and I make. Alleluia! The battle is the Lord's. All the glory is his!
Thank you, Lord, for giving me your knowledge, wisdom and understanding through the Holy Spirit that you know me completely. Thank You for this shalom shalom, perfect peace, over my relationships. I can finally enjoy them! You have freed me to stop the insane cycle of withholding love because of not getting love. I can give, give, give like Christ does, respecting my husband. And he's responding with a deluge of love back. Thank you for hearing my prayers. I praise You! In Jesus' name, amen!
