Just wanted to provide a roll call of the people shown on our home page.

They are (left to right)
1) Mrs. A. A. Fitts (click for bio and high res photo) who served in Sierra Leone
2) Neysa Costa was commissioned and sent to serve in Burkina Faso in 1976. Read more
3) Robert Page was a graduate of the MTI class of 1890 and set sail that very year for the Belgian Congo. An excerpt from The Christian Alliance and Missionary Weekly states, "Mr. Robert Page was going to his own people. God had surely called him, and would carry him through. He had already given him some very precious promises here, and He had taken His precious promises for Africa. "I shall never see you here again, but meet me in the air."
4) Carrie Merriweather (click for bio and high res photo) arrived at Freetown, Sierra Leone, in November 1913, becoming the first African-American missionary to be sent by the C&MA. Read more.

These heroes of the faith followed the Call of God on their lives to serve as overseas missionaries. Let us honor the faith they stood for and the Lord we all serve.
