Please pray for healing and protection for my dad (Hank), who is in the hospital undergoing tests for possible heart problems. At first they thought it was reflux, but initital tests indicated something might be wrong with his heart. As some of you may know, he and my stepmom are raising her 13-year-old granddaughter, whom they adopted, so we want Dad to stick around for a long time! Thanks for praying! They are all believers.

Father, we really need Julie's father here. He might have some defective function of his heart. Father, please guide his doctors, technical people in diagnosing and treating him and please heal him. We praise you for hearing our prayer before we even say it. Thank you for you love. Amen. I'll be praying for him Julie.

I want to live my life so that every morning
when I wake up Satan says, "Oh, no! She's awake!

Father I come boldly before your throne of grace, in the name of Jesus, and pray your word which says, "my flesh and my heart faileth, but God(You) are the strength of my heart and my portion(my allotment) forever...Your word which says, "The humble shall see and be glad, and your heart shall live(surely be made whole and be restored to life)that seek God." Father I thank You that you are faithful to watch over your word to bring it to pass...Thank you Father for intervening in Hanks life...For being Jehowyada---The God who makes Himself known...

Thank you, RuthAnn and Joe, for your prayers! I just spoke to my dad in the hospital. He is in very good spirits and is not in any pain, but he does have two serious heart issues. One of the valves is not working properly, and one artery is clogged. The doctors want to put stents in to correct the problem, but the procedure would pose a major risk to my dad's kidneys, because he has kidney disease. If something goes wrong, he could wind up on dialysis. He wants to get a second opinion before making a decision. I thought this update would be helpful in praying more specifically.

I deeply appreciate everyone's continued prayers!

Blessings,
Julie

Dad is home from the hospital. The doctors are going to try to treat the problem with medication, and he will also seek a second opinion. He is not in any pain and is in good spirits, but he has to be very careful. I appreciate your continued prayers!
