My husband has been placed in an involuntary alcohol rehab as a result of parole violation. We have been married nearly 13 years and have lived together a total of about 15 months out of that time. He was sober for 364 days and I was giving the marriage another chance -- supposedly we were both committed to finally having a marriage. Instead he started drinking and moved in with another woman -- and a lot of yuck besides that.

Please pray for Tom's healing and deliverance. Please pray for me to discern and obey God's will in this matter. Thank you.

Kate, I am praying for both you and Tom. I am sorry you are going through this and pray that you will experience God's comfort and peace as you seek the Lord about this situation.

Blessings to you,

Julie

Thank you, Julie. It appears I have no choice, but divorce. It's a difficult decision to make, but I think it was the Lord's decision years ago and I wouldn't accept it. Still praying Tom will be healed, restored, renewed and live as a Godly man. Your prayers are more appreciated than you can even imagine.

My heart hurts for you. I will pray for God to hold you close and that you will sense His nearness. I also pray that God will open your heart so that you can see all of the wonderful things that God can give you in the days ahead. He loves you very much.

Blessings,
Lori
In The Pursuit of God, A. W. Tozer writes, "Jesus taught that He wrought His works by always keeping His inward eyes upon His Father. His power lay in His continuous look at God (John 5:19-21)."
