Thank you Don -- i'm leading an evangelism ministry now at my church.. i still need to find out more though - like what worked for them in the past - and things like that.. my aim is to lead to salvation one soul at a time -- to make one disciple at a time - heaven rejoices... but without planting seeds there is no harvest -- so this is where we start- only God will draw them. no space left =(

I am with Faith Church, in Waterford, MI. We would like to begin an outreach to foreign students and faculty - probably working with Oakland University.
So I would love to contact Central Alliance Church. I used to go there, and would love to call them to get some advice.

It's true! There is no one so grateful as a prisoner for any little thing you do! I so believe in giving literature--it stays with them and can be shared with others. You go, girl! Rick goes into the county jail each week, and then eventually those guys go to prison (at least some of them do) and so then we eventually go to visit some of them in prison.

Thanks for your comment, Margaret! That's great that your husband goes in to prisons to provide some personal contact for at least one unfortunate soul. Maybe sometime I'll get a chance to speak with him--I have never been to a jail or prison, but I do write to dozens of inmates & send books to thousands all over the oountry. Their gratitude and brokeness is so touching--a real ...

It is by the Holy Spirit and God's grace that He is showing you what sin is and you feel a need to be seperated from it. I refer you to 1John 3 . . .
4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whoso...

Sin is very serious, I've been taught that anything that harms our relationship with God is sin. True, God forgives all our sins, past, present and future when we accept Christ, but we need to recognize sin ,repent and confess sin to keep our relationship with God at it's very best. He is a holy God and we must strive to be holy as he is holy. Accept his grace but avoid sin.
