“The Christian is not obedient unless he is doing all in his power to send the Gospel to the lost world.” A.B. Simpson

Obedience to Christ and to His Word is the mark of a true follower of Jesus. As we seek to obey Him and what His Word tells us, we can find ourselves in uncomfortable and uncertain circumstances. That there would still be people in countries of this world that have not heard the name of Jesus cannot be okay with us. We must continue to go, to send, and to pray. We must push past the idea that somehow my life is more valuable than that of another, past the thought that self-preservation is my highest goal, and put Christ and His Gospel first, above all other considerations. The urgent need to tell The Story continues to push Alliance Missions into the most desperate areas of the world. We have had this vision passed on to us and continue to throw off anything that would hinder us from fulfilling our Lord's command to go, to pour out our lives in service to Jesus Christ, who alone is worthy.
