Certainly large evangelistic meetings are a part of our heritage, but also going out among the people. Door to door evangelism is still a way to reach people in Burkina Faso. Teams are sent out into neighborhoods and most are readily received into the courtyard. Last year, I was part of a team that went out into a neighborhood of our city. We began sharing the story of Jesus with a group of women that were sitting together in a yard. An old man made his way over to us and stopped our story to tell us that over twenty years ago a missionary came to his village and told him about Jesus. "I always wanted to hear more, but never found anyone who could tell me who this Jesus was." We have witnessed healings, reconciliations, and many people accepting Christ. Going out among the people to share about Christ is part of our DNA. Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to give you a way in your culture to be out among people sharing the Gospel.
